Assad, My point is that some or even most people who are in interracial relationships do not date interracially because of some sense of inferiority. I do agree that there are many shallow reasons for dating another race but those factors do not necessarily equate with an inferiority complex. In fact most people that I know that date interracially do so because of the many commonalities they share… As far as dating another race because of a few particular personalities or characteristics relating to a culture, that too might seem shallow it’s a perfectly legitimate reason for dating a person outside of your race. If you’re a black woman and really want to be pampered romantically perhaps you only want to date French guys…and the only reason you date them is because of their accents and sense of romance…not because their white…and you don’t necessarily regard French men as being superior to any other man…they’re just your type…
